A handmade, one-of-a-kind Vimsey ornament from the Vimsical collection: the weird, the wild, the wonderful. John Wayne, sporting a red feathered cap and a pair of vintage clock faces for eyes, wears a body cut from an old Hamilton Bingo Company card out of Springfield, Massachusetts. A tiny vintage photograph of a boy on horseback rides across his chest, flanked by two candy-colored buttons and a wooden bingo marker numbered 45. His checkered arms wave hello, and his blue checkered legs and boots are antique German paper, still stamped “Germany” and “Ges. gesch.” on the soles. Odd, funny, and impossible to walk past.
